Operating Principle 

A non-powered solar water heating system operates under pressure. It is a solar water heater that integrates solar heat collection, heat storage, and heat exchange.
The system works as follows: vacuum tubes absorb sunlight and convert it into heat energy to warm the water in the water tank. Municipal tap water directly undergoes heat exchange through a single-flow channel/double-flow channel inside the water tank. 

Operational Principles

Both non-powered solar systems and conventional solar water heaters employ vacuum tubes to harness solar energy, utilizing natural circulation to heat water in the storage tank. Neither requires electrical power, relying entirely on solar radiation for heating. The core distinctions lie in their operational mechanisms:
Passive Solar Systems: Function under pressure by allowing municipal tap water to pass through stainless steel pipes inside the tank, where it undergoes secondary heat exchange with the stored hot water. (Note: These systems require access to municipal water supply and are not suitable for areas without it.)
Conventional Solar Water Heaters: The non-pressurized system depends on gravitational water
level differences for water supply, leading to relatively low outlet pressure.
